DESCRIPTION:
APW - Hamilton, Grade 940 "Special" with two-tone damascene, 21J, 18S, nickel OF display recase with beeded bezels, white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, two-tone gilt and nickel damascene, s#590308. A beautiful example of this scarce watch with vibrant two-tone color, this example is also notable for having its "Special" marking at the right side of the barrel bridge which is a lesser seen marking position.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, very strong two-tone color, few tiny specks of oxide to regulator assembly; flawless dial; fine hands, minute with areas of oxide; case shows little wear, no dents or dings; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystals.
